About Us

Diablo Valley PrimaryCare, based in Concord, CA, is a private practice devoted to delivering high quality and compassionate primary care to patients in our community.  We are situated across the street from John Muir Concord Campus.  Our providers consist of 1 board certified primary care physician , 1 physician assistant and 2 nurse practitioners. Our experienced and helpful support staff is committed to patient services and, in turn, help us deliver highly coordinated and efficient medical care to our patients.

At Diablo Valley Primary Care, we are committed to the health and well being of our patients.  We believe in the promotion of preventive practices, as we recognize that through effective primary prevention and better management of chronic diseases, we can help our patients avert illnesses, and thus, improve their health and their quality of life.

Although we are experts at treating diseases, we believe that, as healers, we treat people and not diseases.  We utilize shared-decision making, for we are convinced that the best medical decisions are those made between doctor and patient.

COVID-19 Updates

How we’re caring for you during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic:

As we all persevere through this pandemic, Diablo Valley Primary Care stands ready to be the clinic you can rely on regarding Covid counseling, vaccination, testing, and treatment. Listed below are some of the services we provide at the office.

  1. Covid vaccination: We offer all three Covid vaccines for our patients—Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J.
  2. Covid testing: We offer both Covid rapid swab test (result in 15 minutes) and a send out Covid PCR testing that can be done at LabCorp (result in 24-48 hours).
  3. Covid treatment: If you’re infected with Covid and have mild to moderate symptoms and at risk of progressing to severe disease, all our providers can prescribe you either the Pfizer Paxlovid pill or the Merck Molnupiravir pill as treatment. Alternatively, for our senior patients or those who are high risk, we can help coordinate Covid monoclonal antibodies infusion at a local facility.

At Diablo Valley Primary Care, since the onset of the pandemic, we have offered our patients both in-person visits as well as virtual telemedicine visits.

For in-person visits, we have instituted many precautions to help keep our patients and our staff safe.

  • Masks required for both patients and staff
  • Hand sanitizer provided
  • Sanitizing the waiting room after each shift
  • Sanitizing the patient care rooms after each patient visit
